Birmingham BUTTS Results Are Up!

Warwick win the leg in style again, taking all three Gents Recurve medals and two of the Ladies Recurve. Cambridge notch up a second place in their first match of the season, beating rivals Oxford into thrid. Hosts Birmingham make up the 4.

But the hosts made up for it, with a dominating display in the novice category, claiming not only the team victory, but also 2 novice male and 2 novice female medals. Warwick 2nd, Oxford 3rd and Cambridge in 4th place.

Loughborough Results Published

Warwick back on form as they storm to a 105 point victory in the team event, shooting the second highest score in BUTTS History. Accompanying this they took the top two female recurve medals, and all three male recurve medals; a feat only ever achieved once before in BUTTS History.

In the novices, Oxford set the marker, with Loughborough snatching second with help from the first novice over 500 this year.

Nottingham kick off the season with a double win away from home to take the top of both league tables.

Nottingham set the pace with a 2257, Loughborough takes 2nd place in the experienced category on 2202, defending champions falling just into 3rd on 2196 with Birmingham some way back on 2107. Novice teams lined up in order of Nottingham, Warwick, Birmingham and then Loughborough.

Individually, George Harding (Nott) won Gents Recurve with a 585, Amy Middleton Gear (Notts) won Ladies with 571, Phil Glover (Lough) was top compound on 566 and Thomas Cram (Lough) was top longbow with 355. Top make novice was Mike Furlong (Lough) on 473, and top female was Sarah Larsen (Nott) with 427.
