- Nottingham – 2237
- Cambridge - 2142
- Loughborough – 2173

- Birmingham – 2110
- Derby – 1838
- Warwick’s average score is the 2nd
highest average in BUTTS History, just behind their total from the 2007/08
Season. Nottingham’s average score is the
third highest in BUTTS history.
- In
retaining the BUTTS Trophy Warwick becomes the third University to successfully
defend a BUTTS Title, joining Birmingham (who
have previously defended the Novice Shield) and Cambridge (who have defended both the Novice
Shield, and the BUTTS Trophy).
- Nottingham joins
Cambridge and Warwick as one of the only clubs that have
scored over 2200 in every leg.
- 5 of the
BUTTS Universities broke the 2200 barrier at some point this season;
Nottingham, Loughborough, Warwick, Oxford, and Cambridge.

- Derby – 1403
- This win for
Nottingham marks their first ever Trophy win in the BUTTS League, leaving Derby
as the only team never to have won a trophy in the league (although as they
only entered 2 years ago, it would be asking quite a lot)
- Nottingham was the only club whose novices broke the 2000 mark this year.
- There have
been four records broken this year - Longbow Male, Barebow Female, Longbow
Novice Female and Team Recurve.
- The Indoor

this year was the largest recorded BUTTS Competition in history, with a total
of 109 competitors, narrowly exceeding Warwick BUTTS 05/06 by one archer.
- This year
marked only the third ever year where there were no no-shows or cancelled legs;
a testament to the new system.
- However,
this year did mark the first ever time a BUTTS Leg has been hosted over two
days, due to scheduling problems for Derby BUTTS.
- Two archers
broke the 580 barrier this year – George Harding (Nottingham) and Chris Wells (Warwick)
- Eight
archers broke the 570 barrier this year - George Harding (Nottingham), Chris
Wells (Warwick), Chris Norburn (Loughborough),
Amy Middleton Gear (Nottingham), Phil King (Warwick),

- Warwick – 19
- Nottingham – 26
- Birmingham – 15
- Loughborough - 25
- Oxford – 13
- Cambridge – 12
- Derby 9

marked not only the second, but third time in BUTTS history that a university
took all three experienced medals in one competitions; Chris Wells, Phil King
and Alex Stuart of Warwick taking Gold, Silver and Bronze respectively at both
Loughborough and Birmingham BUTTS this year.
- This was
also only the second time in BUTTS History that one archer claimed the gold
medal at all the legs his University was able to attend. That was George
Harding of Nottingham He joins Andrew Somers of Cambridge, who completed the feat in the
2000/01 Season.
