Derby Results

First ever Derby leg kicked off with a bang. Loughborough topple two more records (Barebow Compound and Novice Longbow) and take 1st & 2nd Experienced Males Medals. Birmingham win Novice Team event to go top of table (in lieu of Cambridge Results).

But Nottingham are talk of the town, recording their first ever victory in the Recurve Team Event, being the 3rd team this season to put in a 2200 score. This also saw them scoop 3rd Male Recurve, and 1st and 2nd Female Recurve. As such Nottingham go second in experienced table (once again in lieu of Cambridge Results). Top scorer of the day was Amy Middleton Gear of Nottingham on 566.

EDIT: Sorry about the mix ups in gender for a couple of people; but if you will leave your gender off the score sheets you will be leaving it up to me to try and guess. Should all be fixed now.

PS: The filling in, and general use of score cards at Derby was terrible; look for an e-mail in your inboxes soon listing errors. Remember if you don't sign your score cards, they will NOT count towards the competition. Two Derby novices fell foul of it this week; make sure it doesn't happen at a more important competition.

PPS: I am still waiting for Cambridge score sheets to be delivered to me by Royal Mail. As soon as I have them, I'll process them. Many apologies for this, but don't blame me, blame her Majesty's postmen.
