Cambridge secure the double win in the team categories to put them once again at the top of both league tables.

Singles Recurve victory goes to Colin Geenes, a guest at this leg, putting in the two highest recurve score of the day

 But the biggest news is that the BUTTS Compound record, held by Dave Spinner (Warwick, now ACME and BUTC Commentator) since 13th November 1999 with a score of 580 was broken not once but twice. Comisserations to Chris Bell (Birmingham) who broke the record in the first session of the day with a score of 581, as he was ultimately beaten to both the gold and the record by Phil Glover (Loughborough) with a score of 585.
